Now we can say:
1. The double cam drums are blocking unexpected
2. The single cam drums are braking very low
3. The Brembo single piston disc brakes are braking low, too

So, when you ride with an Aprilia, you should be a good driver with
high corner-speed and no fear at all

But anyway: Who brakes, looses

It is the first and only Aprilia of 1984 that I see with
a disc brake. So I think it is not available in every
country.
Your story about the rear drum is horrible.... :mick
Hard to think about the front is blocking when you
get the original drum....
My 1983 rear drum is a single cam, it brakes very
low, but it do not block!

Yes Armin, it was an option in Belgium.
I don't know if it was the same in other countries.
The rear brake was a double came too and when there was a littel bit of mud in it, it blocks directly when i touched it.
I falled some times because the rear brake blocked unexpectly (?!).
I hope i don't have done too much mistakes, Armin.

yes i agree with you armin , but this problem continue with brembo single's piston from 1983 to 1985 .... :hehe:

I did not know that the disc option is available in 1984...
Today I must laugh about the brake power of the brembo

Option frein à disque à la place du double cames.
C'était une cross endurisée. Elle allait du tonnerre!

la charentaise est sur sa béquille ....j' ai recu la carte grise tout est ok , je fini mon 125 wmx 84 .....les photos arrivent ...j' ai + une grosse envie de 125 en ce moment mais bon l' aprilia va y passer

Je patine dans la carte grise, pour des problèmes administratifs, la suite lors de mon troisième passage en préfecture la semaine prochaine.
J'ai trouvé une mousse de filtre à air neuve avec sa grille. Je me fais ma 'tite liste de pièces neuves à acheter... + un ou deux outils spéciaux.
Le pot est chez Paco pour une beauté.
Et j'ai retrouvé la rondelle du mécaniqme de kick qui s'était envolée.
J'alimenterai le post quand il y aura matière !
