Hi Noel

I have the same RV3 in 250cc that I am preparing for some coming Trail riding in Wales and Devon (UK)
for me after 3 decades owning and restoring SWM that would be a first....but I look forward the disk brakes and the front & rear shocks

Please would you let me have the code/reference of your HIFLOFILTRO ....I have an original from 1989 and now self destroying.

Will do some pictures when finished, even if already pictured in this forum as it was Didier bike for a bit. a 1989 model with maybe some non original bits....but what a bike!

Yes Thierry it would be the only Kram-it in Aust.

how many vintage riders at the race?

This event was VMX Mag Classic Dirt. There is no racing but there are 2MX tracks, Grasstrack, Enduro track and Trials sections. We had 400 entries with about 1200 bikes.
It's on again in early June.

Well it is finished. It was all a rush at the end to have it finished by Classic Dirt.
How does it go? It hauls. The shock needs a heaver spring, the forks are better than I thought they would be and the motor is awesome. This is how you think it looks and sounds when your riding it

I think that you just have to clean it and verify the good condition of the parts, it works automatically, with the exhaust pressure.

How do you setup the RAVE on the LC Rotax? I have just put the nut about where it was.

I think this cutout has no relation with the use of the ball bearing itself.
This cutout is one way to introduce balls between internal and external bushings, so it was milled just for manufacturing the ball bearing but this is not the most popular way to assemble a ball bearing (can you give us manufacturer name and ref)
Jamba engine hasn't such a bearing.........because bearing manufacturer must be different!!
